Icelandic National Cybersecurity Strategy 2022-2037
In force ·
Summary
A long-term strategy endorsed in November 2021 and reissued in February 2022 after responsibilities moved to the new ministry. It has two objectives: advanced cybersecurity skills and better use of security technology, and a safer online environment with stronger law enforcement and added protection for children. It rests on three pillars: law enforcement, security and defence; organisation and cooperation among public bodies and with industry; and competence and capabilities, including awareness, education and research.
