In force ·
Summary
The Act governs the cyber security of government agencies and specific non-government agencies: critical infrastructure providers, state-owned enterprises and government-funded foundations. It requires security plans, incident reporting and response, periodic audits and penalties. The amendment promulgated on 24 September 2025 makes the Ministry of Digital Affairs the competent authority, extends the scope to government-controlled businesses, requires a chief information security officer and restricts products that endanger national security.
