National Cyberstrategy (NCS) 2023

Summary

Switzerland's third strategy, approved by the Federal Council on 5 April 2023 and by the cantons on 13 April 2023, and developed together with business and universities. Its vision is a Switzerland that seizes the opportunities of digitalisation and mitigates cyber threats and their impact through appropriate protective measures. For the first time it explicitly addresses the population as well, setting objectives and measures on awareness, prevention, incident and crisis management, criminal prosecution, cyber defence and cooperation. Implementation is coordinated by the Federal Office for Cyber Security.
